Image Verification

Would it be possible to tone down the complexity of the image verification at all? My eyesight isn't wonderful and I've had to enter what I THINK is the image upwards of 10-15 times to do a search, each time being told I didn't enter the right sequence. I know CAPTCHA has a lot of options.
