First of all. OpenWRT is good if you want to do some bridge, or Repeater modes with wifi, as the so cool airos doesn't support single repeater / bridge modes.
Now you don't care about this, airos is the best choise for ubnt products.
All you have to do is to start up the device (unplug/replug the power) while you pressing the reset button. and tftp the new firmware into 1.20 ip.

airos doesn't support single repeater / bridge modes.I'm not sure what you mean by that.

i try more times before that method but results is:
tftp> put LiteStation2-v3.4.build4390.bin
sent WRQ <file=LiteStation2-v3.4.build4390.bin, mode=octet>
sent WRQ <file=LiteStation2-v3.4.build4390.bin, mode=octet>
sent WRQ <file=LiteStation2-v3.4.build4390.bin, mode=octet>
sent WRQ <file=LiteStation2-v3.4.build4390.bin, mode=octet>
sent WRQ <file=LiteStation2-v3.4.build4390.bin, mode=octet>
Transfer timed out.
luci make some partitions on device ubnt!
i think
must firstly remove it before transfer new firmware..!!
how to remove it ?
and after that...
the tftp method will work!!?
or dont working and never boot again?

hello there,
i was wondering if there is a particular situation between mac computers and the nanostation2, is anything special requirement or any way to make it work?
really thank you for any help,
Other than some possible Java problems on a Mac, you shouldn't have any problems connecting to the Nano and getting to the web GUI. Hmmm..some people have to use something other than Safari I recall.
