Hello ! I have just read POE-15 (15V, 12W) features earth grounding/ESD protection. But since it is a 15V alim and nanostation 2 and loco comes with a 12v alim, is it possible to use it with NS ?

A question more : how this alim (sorry I can't say "alim" in english) brings protection to the antenna ? Is it possible to avoid using a charge supressor when using POE-15 ?

Thanks a lot ! :)

Hello,

The PoE-15i is fully compatible with all of our devices. You will still need to use a Shielded Ethernet Cable to provide the ground path from the UBNT device.

Thanks,

Mike
