Sorry buddy! In the future we'll maybe make an additional optional style for those that prefer something more similar to the old style.

You have to go in to your forum profile and enable images. There are a whole lot of things turned off in the new forums by default.
I am particularly annoyed that I can't use my smokin' monkey avitar. Perhaps my settings are incorrect, but I miss it.
