New 3 Prong POE!!!

I've noticed that newer units are shipping with these. These look very nice. I'm assuming they are going to severely mitigate the "blown ethernet" issue that happens often during storms? Does this ground any ethernet discharge from the antenna side to the electric utility ground? If so, then kudos to Ubiquiti. We were having way too many blown ethernets; even when units were grounded.

Hey Eric,

When used in conjunction with shielded Etherenet, it will eliminate all but the most severe ESD hits.

Unbelievable. I just dropped $60 bucks on outdoor station protectors. My Nano 5's, that I just bought, did not come with the 3 prong POE.
