I just received a bullet 2 m hp
I am trying to flash robin: http://wiki.ubnt.com/wiki/index.php/Bullet_Nano_mesh
but after pressing the reset button for 10s, I see the lights which are described as the TFTP Recovery mode.
But the device never responds to pinging! (192.168.1.20, in normal mode, and not tftp recovery mode, it is responding)
I tried to flash an old bullet 2 hp with the same set up and it worked!
What am I doing wrong?

sorry mabye I am got misunterstood!
I know that there some differences between the devices.
That`s why I try to put a flash file suited for 8 MB devices into the bullet m
for the bullet 2 hp i used an 4 MB flashfile!
And thats not the problem! My problem is that I can`t get an TFTP connection to flash when I am pressing for the TFTP Recovery mode.

ROBIN does not work on Bullet2M or Bullet5M (yet) only the Bullet2/HP and the Bullet5/HP.
The M in the Bullets means 'M Series' in which the processor and architecture are completely different! PLEASE read what people are telling you.
If you are talking about the legacy Bullets you are in the wrong forum, this is for the M series devices.

My problem is that I can`t get an TFTP connection to flash when I am pressing for the TFTP Recovery mode. The device never responds to pinging in Recovery mode
Flashing with the wrong firmware isn't his immediate problem. He can't ping the unit while in recovery mode.
I'll take a stab at this.
To get into recovery mode, you have to power off the radio. Then press the rest button in before you apply power. Apply power and hold it in for the described time.
At this point you should ping to 192.168.1.20.

Hey all,
Devices manufactured using any v5.0-RC (pre-productionFW) are configured with the following IP in TFTP rescue mode:
192.168.1.30
192.168.1.31
192.168.1.32
192.168.1.33
192.168.1.34
192.168.1.145
These IPs are set in u-boot configuration.
ICMP ping to these IPs are not allowed. Correct IP you can find only uploading firmware through TFTP, when device is in TFTP rescue mode.
Devices manufactured using v5.0 final release and newer firmware versions, will use default IP set to 192.168.1.20.
We are sorry that you are not able to use default IP as it is documented. We will fix it in next firmware release, that after software upgrade, device in TFTP rescue mode will always have IP set to 192.168.1.20.
