We are in constant need for ptp bridges short hops (1/2 mile typ.) Have installed NS5's for this for a customer. All we did is wiring and install no configuration or testing. I am looking to set up a bridge through approx 600 yards of pecan tree orchard. Will NS5s work for this or newer NSM5. I am having a hard time finding bridge configuration information for these radios. Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated.

AirMax *may* be an improvement in *some* situations, but it most certainly not going be a magic bullet to solve non-LOS situations.

As for 5.* GHz and trees...forget it!
5.8 gig and a single tree

OK, so antenna masts get up above the trees so I have los. Which of these radios are better suited for a short p2p hop?

Hey, WHT--that link doesn't talk about trees. Dave
