Hello guys. Actually im using routerstation + xr2 cards. I was wondering if i get one of these Rocket 2M with the proper antena and obviously with airmax off, would i get a better performance in my clientstation??Better noise,latency? Im workin in B mode. Thank you!
No........The Rocket M would revert to a standard "b" AP.

Would it be like using a shotgun to kill flies?
A lot of power in the unit would be wasted because it is sitting in B only mode? CPU consumption somewhere around 10%? That sort of thing?

So it doesnt worth. Right? I know that I wont use everything that the CPU offer. I mean, u know Wavion?They have a basestation with 6 antennas that workes based in N Protocol, and its 100% compatible with B/G. Some have buy it, and get really good results,better latency perfomance, better signal, noise, and they still working in B. That was my question. If im going to see difference or not. Thank u!!
