My understanding of the new sector antennas is that they will do Horizontal/Vertical at the same time to constitute their MIMO array.
My questions would be.
If I replace my existing 10mhz Bullet2-HP AP's, with these, will I have to use two 10 mhz channels, one for h-pol, one for v-pol.
If I replace my existing 10 mhz Bullet2-HP AP's, without airmax enabled will my G clients still connect fine? Will N clients also connect but still be able to take advantage of MIMO, while the G-clients will just hook onto 1 of the 10mhz channels of the MIMO array?
I'll ask, but I don't believe it's possible to run N clients with TDMA, and g-clients without it? Any hope of this making it back to the legacy products, so that we have a migration path?
