5.5 Mile Link Upgrade on one end

I upgraded from a Bullet5 to a Bullet M5 on one end of my link.
I have to change the other one later with more tests of the Bullet M5&2
My Tx is 14Mbit and Rx is 10Mbit

Can you provide more info,

The Link CCQ on both ends, Signal of Both ends.

Also try to turn on the Aixmax will work better.

What tool are using to test the bandwidth?

i'm using two 28dbi wide band antennas
With 100% quality i get the following throughputs
40mhz 31mbps
20mhz 17mbps
10mhz 10mbps
5mhz did not link/work

Airmax Quality = 74%
Airmax capacity= 33%
Noise = -96
Signal strength = -69
CCQ = 100%
ACK/Distance: 82 / 5.7 miles ( 9.2 km)

I do the calc and the link should get like -58.

Also what tool you are using for test the bandwidth. Btest? iperf?

I have a link of 11 miles with 29grid and pol v signal -64 and other link with the same grid pol h 19 miles I get -62

All my link are longer I will try the next week some shorter links.

Did you get both sides upgraded? The signal seems low for your link distance. Is there a lot of noise on this link? When measuring throughput, are you measure in both directions or one direction at a time?

Both ends are upgraded to Bulletm5's I used jperf with about 12 streams, one way, I will have to try and align the antennas again I was getting 24mbps one way with two bullet5's on the same setup. I was doing this test in the dark with mild wind so who knows. I will be testing both 2 and 5 on a 20mile link on sunday if it isn't raining and aligning and more testing. It started raining right as i was installing an M2 on one of my omnis (lightning not good). I'm thinking of upgrading to 2ft dishes for the 5.5mile link.

Today i did a 24.61 mile test of the BulletM2
I used 24dbi grids in 2 remote locations far from interference
-69/-68 SIGNAL
-96 NOISE
10MHZ and 20MHZ channels
Throughput 11mbps
used jperf with 16PARELEL STREAMS ONEWAY

This is what I was looking for and even 11mbps throughput isnt to bad for 2.4ghz at 24+ miles
