No WEP on Bullet M2? [Archive] - Ubiquiti Networks Forum

in station mode, i'm finding i can't select or configure APs that are employing WEP. The bullet m2 supports WPA/WPA2, but not WEP?

firmware: XM.v5.0

WEP i'ts legacy really. You will try to use M2 with some legacy product?

Backward compatibility with red flashing warnings "WEP and no WEP are almost the same thing, please do not consider it as security" wouldn't hurt.

i'm using this thing as a mobile station - and i'd value being able to use it with APs that are using WEP. The AP is out of my control... if folks want to use WEP that's there choice - however nutty it is.

Funny thing is the screen shots WHT posted of his pre-release version shows WEP and WPA were in a prior build...

WEP support is coming along. It wont be long. In the meantime you can use WPA.

The problem is that the other components of the network only support WEP, so I can not use the BulletM2 until WEP support
