Installing SR71-E on Dell laptop

I just bought an SR71-E for evaluation (meaning I may need more).

What driver should be installed in my Dell to make the card visible/usable?

I note that the latest Mobility driver is over a year older than this product. It also refuses to recognize the card, though device manager shows the card as "other devices: network adapter".

The product arrived devoid of instructions, and I'm not clever enough to find any on the Ubiquiti website. How is one SUPPOSED to proceed?

this driver does not seem to work with XP x64, are there any tricks? or is there a separate installer for x64 versions.

I tried the mobility drivers v7.7. The installer recognized the x64 and said it would only install the drivers, but alas no joy. Am i missing something?

Just put SR71-E into my dell d630. Had downloaded the latest drivers and such; but installation would not find the card and install it.

After 3 hours of fighting this problem happened to stumble upon this thread. I would be nice if UBNT would put this install link on the home page for the SR71-E.

I'm sure there are other users beating their heads against the wall as to why the Mobility Driver 7.7 doesn't support this card. Unless I'm doing something wrong.

here sr71-e works fine, installe last drivers in windows vista 32..
laptop dell inspiron 1525 ...

but i need some twearks like tx power.. maybe ubnt need to develop some client app !! because "windows zeroconf" are very poor !!!

works out the box with debian (unstable) and latest ubuntu ;)
you people possibly need to install a real OS ;)

Works with Linux ? Show us the screenshots of the client utiliy, how easy is it to operate it, to change the tx power, the band, etc etc ?
