hello admin,,

let me introduce myself..my name is Oky..i'm an Indonesian..
i want ask about your product..
we have planned to use nanostation 5 for support our projects in my office right now..
how is the ability of nanostation 5?
how much is max range can we get?
how much is max throughput can we get?
in this case we have planned to use nanostation 5 with its originally antenna (no optional antenna)..

0-2km = ...... Mb
2-5km = ...... Mb
5-7km = ...... Mb
7-10km = .... Mb
>10km = ..... Mb

let say all in good weather and LOS for PTP..

That all depends on the reliability needed. Do you need better than 99.25% up time per year? That about ten minutes per day downtime.

is there anybody ever use nanostation?

Yes, but I'm not saying how reliable it will be nor how fast you can set your data speed..without knowing how reliable you want the connection.

If you want it to have 99.99% reliability, then the answer is no.

Oppssss....that was an estimate for 99.925% reliability. For 99.99%, figure on another $10,000.

very expensive..
more expensive than my equipment now..
so can u tell me what should i do if i want build link which is can accommodate 10Mb data??
or if i use 1 pair ns5 with range 20km (LOS,good weather) what is max throughput???

does NS2 has heat resistance??
this is an outdoor unit right?
but my country has very high temp (40-50 celcius or more)..
is that okay??

You'll get 99.25% reliability (worst case 10 minutes per day downtime) using the 24 Mbps data rate (12 Mbps FTP transfer rate) at 10 KM.

do it like twitch said. nano is for short range.i think temperature should not be a problem. (some of my stuff suffer from storms/lightnings - no other problems. 100% works in temp. range -20/+40 celsius)
