I apologize for the newbie post, but I just want to make triple-sure of this.

1) The bullet operates at half-duplex? is this a setting we need to adjust, or does it do that automatically?

2) Does the PoE need to be just 4/7 or 5/8, or should it be both 4,5 and 7,8? And what voltage range?

Thanks in advance.

These radios operate at half duplex yes, just like all radios of this type. The Ethernet however runs at auto negotiate 10/100 just like most ethernet devices around as well.

Most wireless devices have to be half duplex since they normally have one radio in them which they needs to both send and receive data. Duplex traffic requires 2 radios and 2 different frequencies for interference reasons.

The browns and blues on a standard Ethernet crimp are the power wires. Blue is positive in this case. Most PoE devices I have worked with have the blue/whiteBlue shorted together as well as the brown/whitebrown. If you are doing a long cable run I would not consider breaking up the pairs due to voltage drop, although in theory you might be able to get away with it on short runs...

These devices work between 12V and 24V max. Never tested lower than 12V, but I'm not sure why one would want to do so. :)

Blue is pin 4 and 5, brown is pin 7 and 8.
