Hey Guys,
We have identified a problem causing Pico 5's to reset to factory defaults after a Power On / Power Off
We are working diligently for a fix and will keep you updated in this post.
Thanks,
Mike

Every time the power goes off the units reset. Also, I am not able to upgrade to the latest firmware version. It just reverts back to 3.3.

i had that with a PS2,
if you use the factory reset procedure that's posted ni the wiki you will be able to upgrade it.
there's a bug with the web update where the file either doesn't get saved properly to /tmp, or the md5 is wrong and the update gets refused

We are Ubiquiti's distributors here in Brazil and we have a serious problem regarding the PICO STATION 5 line. As the problem was already reported in previous posts-losing the configurations after the equipment is turned of,we did all the procedures we found, updated to the firmware 3.4 by TFTP, because by HTTP we weren't able to and the problem is still happening with all the lots acquired by us and we have clients who are waiting an answer from us.
What can you do to solve this serious issue? Has anybody in this forum already found a solution?

Hello Guys,
Has anyone found a solution for this? I cannot understand why they cannot find a solution for this. If they cannot solve this problem recall all the Picos5

The guys from Ubiquiti just disappeared!

The only solution I have found is to backup the configuration and uploaded it after reboot :). But this is not a solution

try this:
log on to the antenna, open /tmp/system.cfg and check that it has your current settings
back it up somewhere to be safe (on the device)
type cfgmtd -r, check the file again, it should have your old settings
restore the backup to /tmp/system.cfg
then type
cfgmtd -w
it should say
Storing Backup[1] ... [%100]
Storing Active[2] ... [%100]
and if you do cfgmtd -r again it should have your new settings. if not, or if you get an error while writing, your flash is probably defective and id check with ubnt's support
http://www.ubnt.com/wiki/index.php/AirOS-SDK has some infos for the command line

Happens with the Pico 2HP too with 3.4. In my case, it looks like the CFG partition is missing, and I can't figure out how to get it back, even following the directions that are on the forum. See http://www.ubnt.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1893 and http://www.ubnt.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10822. On the Pico 2HP, I'm not sure what the flash_base is.
