riskable

I haven't been seriously working on PyCI for the past week or so because I don't want to waste my time on meaningless-to-me contest requirements if I'm not a finalist. Since the finalist announcement is being extended a few days can we get a few more days tacked on to the final due date for the contest?
If I'm not a finalist I'll be taking PyCI in a new direction... Regular ol' Linux administration (and monitoring). That means OpenWRT support will likely be dropped.
For reference, I've been porting PyCI to Circuits: http://trac.softcircuit.com.au/circuits/
There's some bugs in Circuits and a few things I have to work out in my code before everything works (mostly just unicode issues) but preliminary tests show PyCI using a *LOT* less memory running under Circuits than CherryPy. About 1/4th the amount.
It could be a while though before Circuits is ready to run PyCI (too many bugs right now) but at least it is there and shows much promise. Running PyCI on Circuits would also enable it to be so much more than a web app. For example, PyCI running on top of Circuits would make it easy to write an IRC bot that controls all aspects of PyCI (which would be so much fun =)
