Hello,
I'm looking for detailed Ubiquiti technical documentation such as a user guide or administrator guide. One item I'm specifically looking for is the instructions for the silient installation of the Ubiquiti client driver & supplicant installation. (i.e. command line installations; silent installation script (.iss file); package installation file; etc.)).
I have search both the Ubiquiti website & forum without any success, any information or links would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Andrew

Hello,
We do not provide these type of instructions for silent installs. The IT adiministartors will have this knowledge as the silent install process is independent of our utility.
Thanks
Mike

Hello,
I am the IT administrator, so maybe my previous question was not formulated properly.
Does Ubiquiti have a software utility similar to that of the "Cisco Aironet Client Administrator Utility" or "Intel Pro Wireless Administrator Tool" that allows the administrators to globally set wireless configuration parameters and secure/lock down the ability of the client supplicant to the end user.
Does Ubiquiti provide some mechanism that allows the administrator the ability to configure and save/export those supplicant parameters (not just profile parameters) in a format that can be imported, pushed, installed, restored (file formats as a .dat, .msi, etc.)
Some examples of the supplicant parameters I'm talking about are:
- add/remove icon from system tray
- add/remove icon from desktop
- disable/enable users to create new profiles
- disable/enable users to modify existing profiles
If Ubiquiti does have this functionality available can you please let me know where I can locate it, along with any related documentation. If it does not provide this type of functionality, can you please provide some recommendations as to how these parameters may best be administered (i.e. third party software, such as Cisco Secure Services Client, Odyssey Client, etc.; editing the registry; etc..
Please get back to me if further clarification is required.
Thanks for your time,
Andrew
