I have a LS2 that I would like to update. It has firmware version LS2.ar2316.v1.3.1.312.061227.0808. I have tried all of the firmware update images on the LiteStation2 firmware page. The error I get is "Bad firmware update image". Is there a "cross over" firmware or something? Also TFTP dosen't seem to work, I think this was something that was introduced in v1.5+.
Thanks,
Broc

Ok from this post http://www.ubnt.com/Vbulletin/showthread.php?t=1042 i have found that because of the old version I have to update to v1.5 before i can update to newer releases. I have followed the firmware_upgrade.txt that says you have to rename your v1.5.bin to "flash_update" and upload via tftp in binary. I have done all this but I get a error from the tftp server on the LS2 that reads "Error on server : CRC error". I am using the built in windows xp tftp client with "tftp -i 192.168.1.20 put flash_update".
any ideas

Hello Mike,
I have tried upgrading the firmware to v1.5 through the web GUI and I get a "Bad firmware update image" after it uploads to the board. Unless the image is bad on your site. I have tried downloading this with two different machines and upgrading with two different machines with no sucess.

Hello,
Try the TFTP recovery again, but use SysImage TFTP - leave the default settings other then chaning the firmware name and IP. If it errors please let me know the exact error.
