Hey,

Were about to deploy 5.8 on a few 60meter AM towers soon.

I'm knew to AM stuff, so quick question...

Does AM fawk with your body when your on the tower?

Does the tower need to be powered down, i know TV towers do.

Cheers

Sam

I've had some psychedelic experiences climbing around some FM bays thirty years ago.

You don't need to power down an AM tower.

Tips:
If the tower is floating (with a base insulator), jump on the tower instead of climbing onto it.
Pass tools in a bucket with a rope.

Now getting power to your equipment is a whole other issue
