given two LS-SR71 - SR71A. One in AP, one in station mode. In every 2nd, 3rd times I change anything on the station, it freezes. If I change anything on the AP the station one is freezes again, but not the AP. I left it for a night to work (copying from-to computers), but at morning it stays. In these cases only helps to disconnect-connect the power supply from the wall outlet.

Isn't there any firmware tu update the factory loaded? I was searching for it, but haven't found.

Does the bug occurs in your test environment?

Then maybe not I have made something wrong?

yeah,
it happened again 2 times in the past 4 days.

the setup is bridge, both units are connected to RB1000 on station/client side and and on RB450 on AP side. we had to do this as the network is entirely routed. This MIMO link is the only bridge in our network. (i believe it shouldn't affect the link)

until now it only happened to the client side and a power off/on cycle sorted the problem but in the past days it happened once to the AP side as well.
Apparently UBNT unit stops talking with the nearest unit, on both LAN and WLAN side but we noticed the link status is connected. As i mentioned, it only hapen to one (station or AP) so we connect to the other to diagnose.

so i don't know... is a bit frustrating as on that link we have about 1500 customers going out.!!!!! not a great thing when they start calling on a sunday morning.

we are looking to start using MKTK boards in combination with UBNT cards.
that particular link used to be MKTK dual NS but we needed more so we looked at UBNT MIMO sulutions...

Sorry guys I'm over the moon with your radio modules but the software and hardware for carrier class are a bit iffy. MKTK rocks on that one but the radio modules are crap. So we'll carry on doing what we always did: pick up the best from the best :)

hope my feedback is helpfull :)

since my last post I talked to many people on various forums. This error occurs in all environments, and not only on ls-sr71 but the "new line" bullett M products too. I can't belive the ubnt didn't experienced this bug for four month. I reproduce for you in a few hours. Or if experienced why disbelieve?

well, nobody might say I'm impatient because I'm already waiting for an answer since 1,5 years ago.
But it is a little bit irritating. I've got a pair of ls-sr71, waiting continuosly for a firmware with which it doesn't freezes 1-2 times a day, but nothing.
On other platforms the UBNT already corrected this bug, cause the rockets, bullets are working normally, but not the ls-sr71.
Now I can throw this never-used equipment to the garbage. Thanks!
