Hi everybody,
some weeks ago I seen on the UBNT.com the SR71-15 is out. I'd like to try this out, but isn't reachable by hungarian dealers. I only can see 71A at all the dealers. my questions are:
1, Can I use the SR71A with a dual polarised dish, or with two independent antennas (instead of thee ones) in mimo mode? I'd like to use it for a high-speed point-to-point link.
2, What is needed to use it (what hardware-software), 'cause I read, the mikrotik doesn't support it yet, and don't want to wait for them any more.
Does the ubnt shipped openwrt support these cards?
3, what aggregated speed can I reach by them, on 15km with 34dB dishes? It is about -65-70 dB signal levels with normal 75-80mW cards on this distance.
I'm waiting for any info about these cards.
thanks.

Hi,

Can you help my experiment. We used two-Lite Station SR71 with SR71A and parabolic antennas JRC-29dbi dual polarity. Equipment were made on two city blocks in Bucharest at a distance of 7.5 Km. Signal is -46-50dBi and a transfer of 30-40 Mbps. Equipment is stable ... very happy. I looking to buy SR71-15 but not available.

Thanks for answering:-)

The 30-40 Mbits are duplex or half duplex?
The litestation is running airos, or openwrt?
