If it's feasible, would y'all (Ubiquiti) mind deleting the annoying bot-esque posts (and accounts) from at least the more egregious posters (e.g., "saneek55")? Those content-free posts make it extremely difficult to use the "posts since last visit" and "sort by most recent post" features.
Also, if those are, indeed, bots, and aren't being registered manually and then set loose, perhaps they're passing the relatively weak Captcha test. reCAPTCHA (http://recaptcha.net/) seems to be the best going. It's free (http://recaptcha.net/whyrecaptcha.html), and there's a phpBB plugin (http://recaptcha.net/plugins/phpbb/) for it.
