Hi, people
I recently (2 days ago in fact) start playing with MiniStation. I have my network set-up working quite easily, thanks to AirOs and some "route ADD" command-line ;-)
But before I start messing with OS related stuff, I have a few questions.
I am looking for a missing feature : COM port redirection.
Correct me if I'm wrong but there no simple way to achieve such feature with actual AirOS firmware ?
So I'm looking for advice to use the SERIAL (JP1) port of the MiniStation as a remote serial port. You can see a description in a Wikipedia article: External LINK (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/COM_port_redirector)
Do I have to use the SDK and build a home-brew firmware with additional process like : netfwd (http://www.bsdua.org/netfwd.html), socat (http://www.dest-unreach.org/socat/) or remserial (http://lpccomp.bc.ca/remserial/) :?:
Best regards from France,
Eric
